ORDER:
When the matter came up on the last occasion on 13.08.2014, in view of absence of any representation on behalf of the petitioner, this Court directed the writ petition to be posted under the caption ‘for dismissal’. Today also, when the matter was called in the pre-lunch session, there was no representation for the petitioner, as such, this Court passed over the matter. Even in the post-lunch session now, none appears for the petitioner when the matter is called.
In the circumstances, this Court is of the opinion that the petitioner herein has no interest in prosecuting the writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, stand closed. No order as to costs.
