Petition under Article 226 of the constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the Affidavit filed herein the High Court will be pleased to to issue a writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ or writs, order or direction, declaring the action of hte first respondent in not conducting survey of land admeasuring 260 sq.yards bearing Plot No. 3 & 4 in Sy.No. 8/1 of Narsapur Village and Mandal, Medak Dsitrict, as illegal, arbitrary and unconstiotutional and to consequently direct the first respondent to forthwith conduct survey of Land admeasuring 260 sq yards bearing Plot Nos. 3&4 in Sy.No. 8/1 of Narsapur Village And mandal, Medak District as per the application made by petitioner on 18.12.2007 Award costs and pass

This writ petition is filed questioning the action of the first respondent in not conducting survey of land admeasuring 260 sq.yards bearing Plot No. 3 & 4 in Sy.No. 8/1 of Narsapur Village and Mandal, Medak Dsitrict, as illegal and arbitrary.

The petitioner claims that he is the absolute owner of the subject land and since third parties are making claim over the said property, he made an application dated 18.12.2007 to the first respondent to conduct survey and since no further action in the matter is taken, he filed the present writ petition.

Heard the learned counsel for petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue. Both counsel agreed for disposal of the writ petition at the admission stage with the following direction.

Since the application of the petitioner dated 18.12.2007 is pending, the first respondent is directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
