ORAL ORDER:

This writ petition is filed questioning the proceedings issued in letter No. APSCHE/Sec/CETs/EdCET-2005/No-21, dated 13.12.2006 by the Secretary, A.P. State Council of Higher Education.

In the aforementioned impugned letter, the Secretary, A.P. State Council of Higher Education, Hyderabad, has furnished the information by deleting the names of some candidates who have been admitted in excess of the prescribed seats in methodologies and contrary to the rules and norms notified in G.O.Ms.Nos. 26 and 27, dated 3.2.2005, to B.Ed. course for the academic year 2005-06. But, however it is stated that subsequently, representations were filed before the Government for regularization of the said admissions, which were made in excess of the ceiling limits by deviating from the prescribed percentages in Methodology, and, the Government has considered the said request and issued orders in G.O.Rt. No.205 dated 22.3.2007 by levying certain penalties. It is stated that for the students who were admitted in deviation of the ceiling limits, the second petitioner-college has paid penalty amounts as per the government orders in G.O.Rt.No.205, dated 22.3.2007.

In view of the subsequent orders passed by the Government in G.O.Rt.No.205, dated 22.3.2005 and payment of the penalties as per the said orders, I dispose of the writ petition setting aside the deletion of the names ordered in the impugned letter dated

13.12.2006 and further direct the respondents that if the results of the said candidates are not announced, the same shall be announced within a period of two weeks from the date of the receipt of a copy of this order.

There shall be no order as to costs.
