The first petitioner-society, which is running second petitioner College of Education has filed this writ petition questioning the proceedings dated 22.11.2006 in disapproving the admission of 21 candidates in A-category and 7 candidates in B-category seats to B.Ed. course during the academic year 2005-06.

It is stated that subsequent to filing of the writ petition, representations were made to the Government and the Government has issued orders in G.O.Rt.No.205, dated 22.3.2007 regularizing the admissions made in deviation of the prescribed percentages in Methodology and violation of rules laid down in G.O.Ms.Nos. 26 and 27 dated 3-2-2005, by levying certain penalties. It is stated that pursuant to the said orders of the Government, penalty amounts were already paid and the petitioner has produced a Xerox copy of the challan and covering letter, which is addressed to the Secretary, A.P. State Council of Higher Education on 27.4.2007 in proof of the payment.

In view of the subsequent orders of the Government and the payment of penalties by the petitioners as per the orders of the Government, I dispose of the writ petition by setting aside the proceedings Nos. APSCHE/CETs/Ed-CET-2005/85% Mgt.quota/2005-06 and APSCHE/CETs/Ed.CET-2005/15% Mgt.quota/2005-06, dated 22.11.2006 and further direct the respondents to announce the results of the said candidates within a period of two weeks from the date of the receipt of a copy of this order.
