ORDER:
This writ petition is filed seeking a declaration that the alleged inaction on the part of the respondents in disposing of the petitioner’s application dated 29-03-2007 for grant of quarry lease over an extent of Ac.2.20 guntas in Sy.No.497 of Kannala village, Karimnagar District for building stones and road metals as arbitrary and illegal.
The learned Government Pleader, who accepted notice on behalf of the respondents under instructions stated that the petitioner’s application is under process and the same will be disposed of in accordance with law.
Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on merits, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner’s application as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
