None appeared for the petitioner on 27-01-2006, and as such, the matter was posted “for dismissal” on 28-01-2006. On 28-01-2006, it was represented by Mr.Ramakrishna Rao that he was not well and he was going to undergo check-up and a request was made that the matter be listed on 02-02-2006. Accordingly, the writ petition was posted today. Today, when the matter was called at 10.30 a.m., further time was sought on behalf of Mr.Ramakrishna Rao on the ground that he is not in station. On being informed that this court is not inclined to accept such a
request and that the matter should be proceeded with, learned counsel, who appeared on behalf of Mr.Ramakrishna Rao, left the court hall. The matter was passed over. Again, when the matter was called at 11.30 a.m., there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.
The writ petition is accordingly dismissed for non-prosecution. No order as to costs.
