ORAL ORDER: (Per Hon’ble Smt. Justice T. Meena Kumari)
A Telegram dated 23.12.2005 sent by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to produce her maternal grand father B.N. Laxman, mother Suchitra and father M. Joseph, who were illegally taken away by the police, Gandhinagar Police Station, before this Court and set them at liberty forthwith, is taken up as writ petition.
The 1st respondent filed counter-affidavit stating that on enquiry as to the alleged detenu, he came to know that they are moving freely. He also submitted a certificate issued by the Mandal Revenue Officer-cum-Mandal Executive Magistrate, Secunderabad to that effect.
It is also submitted across the Bar by the learned Advocate-General that the alleged detenu are moving freely and they were taken into custody.
In view of the above submission, we feel that no further orders are necessary in this writ petition.
Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.
