Oral order:
The petitioner, by the circular dated 09-05-2006 impugned in this writ petition, has been informed that he has failed to put in requisite attendance in the first year B. Tech. Course for the year 2005-2006; has been detained and is required to seek re-admission to the 1st year B.Tech. Course for the year 2006-07 on payment of tuition fee and satisfying any other University Regulations.
The records relating to the petitioner and others were produced by the 3rd respondent and have been perused by the learned counsel for the petitioner. Sri S.V. Bhatt, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner desires to submit a representation for re-consideration of the decision
contained in the impugned circular. In the light of the submissions made, the writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to submit a representation to the 3rd respondent, which shall administratively be considered in accordance with the extent of discretion available to the 3rd respondent for reassessment of the facts in the light of the explanation submitted by the petitioner, if warranted. The petitioner may make his representation within a period of one week and the 3rd respondent shall consider the same within a week thereafter. No costs.
