ORDER:
Seeking to declare the action of the 1st respondent in not extending the term of the person in charge committee of Sri Devineni Venkataramana Praneethala Lift Irrigation Cooperative Society Limited, Regd.No.G. 3089, Eturu Village, Chanderlapadu Mandal, Krishna District in terms of Sec. 32(7) (a) of the A.P. Cooperative Societies Act, 1964 and pursuant to the representation dt.3.2.2005 or alternatively in not conducting elections to the Managing Committee of the said society law is arbitrary and illegal, the present writ petition has been filed.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for the respondents.
When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned government pleader appearing for the respondents brought to the notice of this court that the respondents notified for fresh elections by extending the term of the person in charge of the petitioner’s society and also represents that the cause in this writ petition does not survive for adjudication and thereby this writ petition has become infructuous.
Recording the said submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
