Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed herein the High Court will be pleased to issue an appropriate Writ, order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondents in imposing the compounding fee of Rs. 1,78,200/- for release of the vehicle bearing Reg. No. AP27-T-7374 vide Proc. No. 1064/2004/M12 dated 31-7-04 as illegal, arbitrary, unjust and against to principles of natural justice and consequently set aside the same in so far as the vehicle of the petitioner bearing Reg.No. AP 27T 7374 is concerned.
