After arguing for sometime, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner does not press this petition on its merit. He submits that the appropriate directions be issued to the Executive Court to expedite the execution proceedings of the order dated 03.04.2019 passed by the Rent Tribunal for eviction of the respondent.

Learned counsel submits that the execution proceedings are lying pending before the Executive Court since last more than two years and the proceedings have been deferred from one day to another.

Learned counsel further submits that in the interest of justice, the appropriate directions be issued to the Executive Court to speed up the proceedings of the pending execution application.

Considering the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner and looking to the fact that the execution proceedings are pending since 2023, this Court deems it just and proper to dispose of the present Civil Writ Petition with the expectation from the Executive Court to make all possible endeavours to decide the pending execution application expeditiously, as early as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

The present Civil Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
