Matter has come up on an application (IA No.1/2025) filed by petitioner, seeking withdrawal of the writ petition, in the light of letter dated 22.02.2025 issued by the President, Boxing Federation of India.

Counsel, appearing on behalf of respondent No.3- Secretary, Boxing Federation Of India, disputes the letter dated 22.02.2025 and states that the President has issued the letter after expiry of

his term. However, this Court is of the opinion that respondent is at liberty to assail the order dated 22.02.2025 and in this writ petition, the Court is not inclined to adjudicate that inter se controversy between President and Secretary of Boxing Federation of India.

Counsel appearing for respondent No.4- Sh. Fateh Singh Rathore submits that he has also filed one SB Civil Writ Petition No.4488/2025: Sh. Fateh Singh Rathore Vs. Union of India and proceedings of his writ petition may not be adversely affected by permitting withdrawal of this writ petition by petitioner.

Taking into consideration the rival contentions, this Court permits simpliciter withdrawal of present writ petition. However, it is made clear that withdrawal of this writ petition shall not affect the merits of SB Civil Writ Petition No.4488/2025 filed by Sh. Fateh Singh Rathore (respondent No.4 herein).

Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of.
