A limited prayer has been made by counsel for the petitioner for issuing direction to the Registrar Trade Mark to decide the application submitted by the petitioner seeking registration of the trademark.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the application is lying pending for adjudication since 2019, but in spite of passing of considerable time, till date, the said application has not been decided for the reasons best known to the Authorities concerned, therefore, appropriate direction be issued for expeditious disposal of the said application.

Considering the limited prayer made by counsel for the petitioner, the instant writ petition stands disposed of by issuing

direction to the Registrar Trade Mark to decide the application submitted by the petitioner, pending if any, after providing opportunity of hearing to respondent No.2, expeditiously as early as possible, preferable within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
