Matter has come up on an application bearing Inward No.1/2025 dt.20.09.2025 filed by petitioner praying therein for disposal of present writ petition in the light of the order dt.19.05.2025 passed by Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in S.B. Civil Writ Petition No.9673/2025 (Vinod Kumar Vs. R.S.R.T.C. & another).

In the aforesaid application, it is pleaded that the petitioner has filed the writ petition seeking benefit of selection grade available to him after completion of prescribed service. In writ petition, the notices had already been served upon the respondents & reply thereof has also been filed. The writ petition is pending since 2015.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner contends that the similar controversy has been resolved by this Court in catena of case i.e. Tara Chand Vs. Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation & another, in S.B. Civil Writ Petition No.8810/2014, decided on 25.01.2017, including the case of Vinod Kumar Vs. R.S.R.T.C. &

another, in S.B. Civil Writ Petition No.9673/2025, decided on 19.05.2025, and the present case is squarely covered by the aforesaid judgments passed by this Court. Therefore, looking to the facts & circumstances of the case & in the interest of justice, the present writ petition may be disposed of in the light of the aforesaid judgments passed by this Court.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondents do not dispute the aforesaid facts.

In this view of the matter, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner may be permitted to file a representation before the respondents, who shall consider the same in the light of the judgments rendered by this Court in the aforesaid cases.

In view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, while allowing the aforesaid application, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction that in the event of filing a representation by the petitioner, the respondents shall decide the same within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, keeping in mind the law laid down by this Court in the aforesaid cases.

Pending application, if any, also stands disposed of.
