The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner assailing the order dated 22.08.2025 passed by the learned Rent Tribunal, Alwar, whereby the application submitted by the petitioner-tenant under Section 21(3) of the Rajasthan Rent Control Act, 2001, seeking permission to file a reply to surrejoinder was dismissed.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, in view of the facts stated in the rejoinder, the sur-rejoinder is necessary for the adjudication of the case.

Heard and considered the submissions and perused the material available on record.

From a bare perusal of the impugned order dated 22.08.2025 as well as rejoinder filed by the respondents, it is evident that no new case has been set up which requires rebuttal by the petitioner-tenant, even otherwise the petitioner is always at liberty to lead evidence to substantiate the defence so raised.

In that view of the matter, the reasons so accorded by the learned Rent Tribunal while rejecting the application of the petitioner-tenant dated 13.05.2025 does not suffer from any jurisdictional error, perversity or legal infirmity so as to warrant any interference by this Court under the jurisdiction conferred by Article 227 of the Constitution of India.

Accordingly, the present writ petition is dismissed.

All pending application(s), if any, shall stand disposed of.
