In the present matter, a prayer has been made that a direction may be issued to the respondents to treat the petitioner as an OBC Candidate in the Rajasthan Police Sub-Inspector Joint Competitive Examination, 2010, and to prepare her merit list accordingly.

No one is present on behalf of the petitioner.

Relying upon the judgement of a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in the case of Manish Sinsinwar Vs. State of Rajasthan & Another, in S.B. CWP No.669/2012 decided on 03.05.2012, learned counsel appearing for the respondents, contends that once the petitioner chose to apply in the General Category & filled-up her application form as a General Category candidate, she cannot be allowed to change her Category to OBC during the selection process or after the declaration of

result. Counsel further contends that in view of the aforesaid order, the issue involved in this case is no more res-integra and now stands resolved.

Today, no one appeared on behalf of the petitioner. It appears that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the present case.

Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed in default as well as for non-prosecution.
