Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that under the acquisition proceedings an award dated 04.01.2024 has been passed by the Land Acquisition Authority, despite the said award the amount qua compensation i.e., approximately Rs.22,67,241/amount has not been released. In this regard, petitioner has filed various representations before the concerned authorities, however, the same is not considered, till date.

Considering the foregoing facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the competent authority/ respondent No.2

to take appropriate decision, in accordance with law, within a period of 60 days after proving audience to the petitioner on 28.08.2025 at 11:00 AM.

Petitioner is directed to mark appearance before the office of respondent No.2 on the above stated date and time.

Further, petitioner is at liberty to approach this Court in future, if still aggrieved by the decision taken by the respondent No.2 or in a situation where no decision is taken by the respondent No.2 within the stipulated time period.

In light of the above, the present petition is disposed of. Pending applications, if any, shall stand disposed.
