The instant criminal misc. petition has been preferred with the prayer to quash the proceedings of the impugned F.I.R. No.3/2025 registered at Police Station Beawar City, District Beawar for the offence under Sections 318(3), 308(2) & 356(2) BNS, 2023.

This Court vide order dated 20.11.2025 directed the parties to appear before the Investigating Officer for verification of the compromise arrived at between the parties.

Counsel submits that this fact could not be brought into the notice of the Court on the said day that the charge-sheet has already been submitted in the matter before the competent Court

of law and the investigation is not pending with the Investigating Officer.

Considering the above factual aspect of the matter, the instant criminal misc. petition stands disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner and the complainant to file an appropriate application seeking compounding of the offences before the trial Court.

In case, such an application is submitted by the parties before the trial Court, it is expected from the trial Court to decide the said application expeditiously, as early as possible by passing a reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observation, the instant criminal misc. petition stands disposed of. Stay application and all pending application(s), if any, also stand disposed of.
