At the outset, it is noted that identical and connected matters were listed before this Court on 22.05.2025, wherein interim protection was granted, after taking into consideration the fact of political rivalry between the disputing parties which resulted into the filing of cross-FIRs. Additionally, factors such as the petitioner belonging to the ST Community and being a lady were also given due weightage.

On 22.05.2025, directions were also issued to the petitioner to participate in the investigation in the connected petition of Mr. Jeet Ram Choudhary i.e. S.B. Criminal Miscellaneous Petition No. 2597/2025.

At this juncture, the petitioner clarified that due to certain lapse in communication, no criminal antecedents were reflected against the petitioner on 22.05.2025, whereas in actuality, one criminal antecedent is reflected against the petitioner.

In this background, learned counsel for the petitioners informed the court that the petitioners on 29.05.2025 and 17.06.2025 marked their appearance before the Investigating Officer, thereby duly joining the investigation.

Per contra , learned counsel for the complainant and State, in tandem, have opposed the aforementioned claims and submitted that the petitioners have not joined investigation, as and when required. Moreover, the cooperation extended on part of the

petitioners is not proper, which is reflected by the fact that complete statements of the petitioners are not yet recorded.

In the foregoing facts and circumstances, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the present petitions with the precise direction that the petitioners shall mark their presence before the Investigating Officer on 28.07.2025 at 11:00AM. On the said date, the Investigating Officer shall record the requisite statement(s) and carry out investigation, in the manner deemed fit by the officer, in accordance with law.

In the meantime, no coercive action/arrest be taken qua the petitioners.

With the above said direction(s), petitions are disposed of. Pending application(s), if any, also stand disposed of.
