We find that in large number of cases, similar orders are being passed which required the respondents to take appropriate steps for grant of consequential benefits including pension with fixation.

It appears that because of the pendency of cases before the Hon’ble Supreme Court and certain orders passed, the compliance of the order was deferred.

At this stage, now the compliance is being made in view of dismissal of SLP in case of State of Rajasthan & Ors. Etc. Vs.

Dr. Mahesh Chandra Sharma and Ors. Etc.

Let necessary orders be now passed towards compliance of the direction within a period of six weeks. In case, such orders are not passed, it will be open for the petitioner to approach the Court by filing the contempt petition.

Accordingly, the present contempt petition is disposed of.
