This habeas corups petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging that his daughter is missing since 08.01.2024 and in relation to that, she has lodged a report at P.S. Rani, District Pali.

It is stated in the petition that the petitioner apprehends that his daughter is in illegal detention of respondent No.5.

Pursuant to directions given by this Court on 19.01.2024, learned Additional Advocate General has submitted the factual report, wherein it is mentioned that the petitioner’s daughter is major and her date of birth is 21.07.2004, as per the mark-sheet

of Secondary Examination, issued by the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan.

It is stated that the police have interrogated the corpus and recorded her statement on 16.01.2024, wherein she has specifically stated that she went with the respondent No.5 as per her own free will and also solemnized marriage with him.

It is further stated by the corpus that she is not under pressure of anybody and is residing with respondent No.5 as his wife.

It is stated by the Investigating Officer that the statement of corups were recorded in the presence of the petitioner and her other family members.

Since, the corups is major and in her statement, she has specifically stated that she went with the respondent No.5 as per her own free will and she is not in illegal detention of anybody, we do not find any case for issuance of writ of habeas corpus.

The present petition is, therefore, dismissed.
