The instant petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayer:-

“It is, therefore, most humbly prayed that Your Lordships may graciously be pleased to admit and allow this writ petition, call for and examine entire record of the case and-

a) By an appropriate writ of order or direction in the nature thereof and Learned Director Local Bodies Rajasthan Jaipur may kindly be directed to schedule the dates of proceeding and hearing of the pending Revision Petition No. 5/2010 titled as Ramkrishna and others versus Executive Officer and others expeditiously as early as possible within 3 months from the date of presentation of certified copy of the order passed by this Hon'ble Court so as to secure justice in the interest of the petitioner.

b) Any other order or direction, which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the present case be also passed in favour of the Petitioner.

By way of filing this petition, the petitioner is seeking directions against the Revisional Authority i.e. Director Local Bodies to decide the pending revision petition No. 5/2010 within a time frame.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that the revision petition filed in the year 2010 has not been decided by the Revisional Authority, so appropriate direction be issued to the authority concerned to decide the pending revision petition expeditiously.

Heard and considered the submissions made at Bar and perused the material available on record.

Considering the arguments put forward by the counsel for the petitioner and looking to the fact that revision petition is pending before the Revisional Authority since more than a decade and inspite of passing of more than thirteen years, the same has not been decided.

In view of the factual aspect of the matter, the instant writ petition stands disposed of with direction to the Revisional Authority i.e. Director Local Bodies to decide the revision petition (pending, if any) expeditiously not beyond the period of four months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.

All pending application(s), if any, also stands disposed of.
