The present writ petition has been filed with the following

prayers:-

“(a) The inaction on the part of the respondents in removing the name of petitioner’s father from the revenue record and acquiring the land without payment any compensation may kindly be declared absolutely unjust, illegal and arbitrary.

(b) The respondents may kindly be directed to enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue record in relation to the land in question in view of orders of various courts of law and order number प.

(4) राज/ग्प-3/2000 dt. 17.10.2000 of State Government and they by further directed to pay

compensation to the petitioner in lieu of acquisition of his land.

(c) The respondent District Collector, Jodhpur may kindly be directed to decide the representation of the petitioner objectively.”

Learned counsel for the petitioner without pressing the writ petition on merit submits that the petitioner may be permitted to file a representation to the respondent Nos. 2, 3, 4 & 5 for taking an early decision in the matter with respect to the land in question for entering the name in Revenue Record and compensation.

Considering the limited prayer made by the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to file a representation to respondent Nos. 2, 3, 4 & 5 within a period of one week and the respondent Nos. 2, 3, 4 & 5 are directed to consider and decide the same in the light of the order passed by them on 17.10.2000 within a period of eight weeks thereafter, strictly in accordance with law.
