Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The present writ petition has been filed with a prayer that the respondents may be directed to complete the formalities for issuance of Patta in favour of the petitioner with respect to Plot No. G-204 at Vivek Vihar Scheme, Jodhpur.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was issued an allotment letter for grant of a piece of land in the year 2012, however, the allotment order was lost by him and, therefore, no further course of action for allotment of land in favour of the petitioner could be taken. He further submits that the petitioner after protracted correspondence was informed by the respondents vide order dated 06.10.2023 that the

respondents had already taken a decision to restore the allotment of a piece of land in his favour in the ‘MIG-A Category’. Since the order dated 06.10.2023 is not being acted upon by the respondents, therefore, the present writ petition has been filed.

At the outset, Mr. D. S. Rajvi, learned counsel for the respondent No.2-the Secretary, Jodhpur Development Authority, Jodhpur submits that a decision has been taken to place the case of the petitioner for calculation/deposition of the amount for allotment of the land by the petitioner before the Executive Committee of the JDA. He further submits that making of the Executive Committee could not take place because of the operation of the model code of conduct on account of Lok Sabha Election-2024 and, therefore, the same will be held after 4^th June, 2024.

In view of the submissions made before this Court, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.2-The Secretary, Jodhpur Development Authority, Jodhpur to consider the case of the petitioner for calculation/ deposition of the amount for allotment of the land made in his favour vide order dated 06.10.2023 within a period of six weeks starting from 4^th June, 2024 and decide the same in accordance with law.

The stay petition as well as other pending misc. applications, if any, stand disposed of accordingly.
