This petition is filed seeking directions for an expeditious disposal of the pending appeal of the petitioner.

It is pleaded in the petition that the appeal relating to assessment years 2014-15 to 2016-17 are pending for four years and more.

After hearing learned counsel for the petitioner and from the perusal of the writ petition, it is forthcoming that no such request

has been made to the officer concerned. No case is made out for interference in the writ jurisdiction.

However, the petitioner shall be at liberty to approach the office of the officer concerned with a request for expeditious disposal of the appeal. There is no doubt in the eventuality of the petitioner making such a prayer, the same shall be considered in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible.

The petition is dismissed with liberty as prayed for.
