This criminal writ petition has been filed by petitioners seeking protection from the private respondents Nos. 5 to 14 as they are apprehending danger to their life and liberty at the hands of private respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners are present in person and both are major and mature enough to take decision of their life. He submits that the petitioners are living in a live-in-relationship and in this regard they have also executed an agreement on 24.01.2024. Learned counsel further submits that petitioners are receiving continuous threats from the private respondents, so they prayed for protection.

In view of the above factual averments, petitioners are directed to file appropriate application seeking protection before respondent no.4- Station House Officer, Police Station Dei, District Bundi and respondent no.4 is directed to provide protection to the petitioners, if any application is filed before him and he would ensure that no harm is caused to the petitioners.

The criminal writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.

It is made clear that this order shall not prejudice/affect any other legal proceedings initiated between the parties.
