This parole petition is filed on behalf of the petitioner with a prayer for exempting the condition of furnishing two sureties along with personal bond as decided by the District Parole Advisory Committee, Jaisalmer in its meeting dated 08.08.2023.

The District Parole Advisory Committee, Jaisalmer in its meeting dated 08.08.2023 has decided to release the petitioner on 30 days’ second parole subject to the condition that he shall furnish the personal bond of Rs.50,000/- along with two sureties of Rs.25,000/- each.

This Court vide order dated 16.11.2023 directed the Rajasthan Legal Services Authority of this Court to inquire for the petitioner on the aspect as to why he is unable to provide sureties when in the year 2022 he had provided sureties for availing the benefit of first parole.

Report of the Rajasthan Legal Services Authority of this Court is produced, wherein it is mentioned that the economic condition of the petitioner’s family is poor and, therefore, he is not

able to provide the sureties for availing the benefit of 30 days’ second parole.

Having gone through the report of the Rajasthan Legal Services Authority of this Court, we deem it appropriate to direct the Superintendent of Central Jail, Jodhpur to release the petitioner on 30 days’ second parole on furnishing a personal bond of Rs.50,000/- only by relaxing the condition of furnishing two sureties of Rs.25,000/- each as imposed by the District Parole Advisory Committee, Jaisalmer in its meeting dated 08.08.2023.

Accordingly, this parole writ petition is allowed and it is hereby directed that petitioner - Sujaram @ Sujanaram, who is presently lodged in Central Jail, Jodhpur, shall be released on second parole for a period of 30 days in pursuance of the decision of the District Parole Advisory Committee, Jaisalmer in its meeting dated 08.08.2023 upon his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- only to the satisfaction of the Superintendent, Central Jail, Jodhpur. The condition of furnishing two sureties of Rs.25,000/- each as imposed by the District Parole Advisory Committee, Jaisalmer in its meeting dated 08.08.2023 is hereby waived.

The petitioner shall surrender himself before the Superintendent, Central Jail, Jodhpur after availing 30 days’ second parole from the date of his release.
