It is stated at the Bar that a compromise has been arrived at between the parties and it is borne out from the compromise that the complainant is not inclined to proceed further in the matter.

Learned counsel for the parties have placed reliance on a decision of Supreme Court in case of Gian Singh V/s. State of Punjab & Anr. (2012) 10 SCC 303 .

The factual report produced by learned Public Prosecutor is taken on record.

As per the factual report submitted by learned Public Prosecutor, the settlement has been verified by the Investigating Officer.

Learned counsel for the complainant has no objection for quashing of the F.I.R.

In view of compromise arrived at between the parties and applying the ratio in decision of Gian Singh Vs. State of Punjab & Anr. (supra) , I deem it just and proper to invoke inherent powers of this Court under Section 482 Cr.P.C.

Accordingly, the misc. petition is allowed and the proceedings of FIR No.72/2024 registered at the Police Station Nagori Gate, Jodhpur City East for the offence under Sections 384, 389, 420 and 406 of the I.P.C. are hereby quashed.

Stay petition is also disposed of.
