This contempt petition is filed by the petitioner alleging that the order passed by this Court on 09.11.2022 in D.B. Criminal Writ Petition No.332/2022 has not been complied with.

This Court, vide order dated 09.11.2022, has directed the concerned authorities to consider and decide the application preferred on behalf of the petitioner for his premature release within a period of six weeks.

Learned AAG has informed this Court that the application of the petitioner for his premature release has already been decided by the respondents on 13.07.2023 and the petitioner has been prematurely released from the prison.

A copy of the order dated 13.07.2023 (Annex./13) is placed on record.

In view of the fact that the application filed by the petitioner for premature release has already been decided, no further order is required to be passed in this contempt petition.

Hence, the contempt petition is disposed of.
