This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayer:-
“It is, therefore, prayed that the Hon’ble Court may call for the entire record concerning the case and by issuing writ, order or direction or in the nature thereof; (I) the counseling conducted on 11.04.2011 by the respondent for admission to PG course be quashed and set aside and the respondents be directed to conduct a fresh counseling after calling candidates by applying roster in a manner that the women category candidates be given their appropriate choice under the 25% reservation as has been laid down by the State Government in its circular dated 07.08.2007;
(ii) any other order or direction as may be deemed fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case may also be passed in favour of the petitioner.

(iii) cost of this writ petition may also be awarded in favour of humble petitioner.”
On 28.02.2023, this court passed the following order:-
“None present on behalf of the parties. However, in the interest of justice, list on 20.03.2023.”
Today also, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner.
I have perused the record and find that this matter relates to PG Admission-2011 and no interim order has been passed by this court in this matter while issuing notices to the respondents.
In the facts and circumstances of the present case and in my view, by efflux of time, the present writ petition has become infructuous.
In that view of the matter, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
