Petitioner is present in person and states that he was posted as Conductor in Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (hereinafter “RSRTC”) and his services have been terminated vide order dated 25.11.2022 by the Chief Manager, RSRTC, Kota Depot. Petitioner states that he has challenged his termination order by way of filing statutory appeal provided under the Standing Order, 1965, before the Appellate Authority, Managing Director, RSRTC on 5.12.2022 (Annexure-5). Petitioner states that his appeal has not been considered and decided on merits so far and therefore, a limited prayer has made that respondents be directed to decide the appeal filed by petitioner expeditiously.

Issue notice to respondents.

On behalf of respondents- RSRTC, Mr. Surendra Meel, Advocate, has put in appearance and accept notices and he does not dispute to decide the appeal of petitioner, if has not been decided so far and pending before Managing Director, RSRTC.

In view of above, the instant writ petition is disposed of with direction to respondents that the appeal filed by petitioner against his termination order dated 25.11.2022, be considered and decided on merits in accordance with law as early as possible and not beyond period of 90 days from the receipt of copy of this order.
