This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayer:-
“It is, therefore, most respectfully prayed that your lordship may graciously be pleased to accept and allow this writ petition and may kindly be pleased to direct the respondents to cease the unlawful, arbitrary action against the petitioner and allow him to get back to his hostel and to attend his further classes.
Any other writ order or direction, which this Hon’ble Court deems fit and proper, may kindly be passed in favour of the Petitioner.”

I have gone through the record and as per the office order dated 27.01.2023 (Annexure-3) issued by the respondentUniversity, the petitioner was expelled from the academics and hostel from 14 days only.
Since, the period of 14 days has already been expired, therefore, by efflux of time, the present writ petition has become infructuous.
In that view of the matter, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
