Heard the parties present in person and learned Public Prosecutor for the State.
The instant petitions have been filed for quashing of criminal proceedings arising out of the FIRs No. 72/2020 and 73/2020 registered with Jurhara, Bharatpur for the offences punishable under Sections 143, 323, 341, 354 and 452 (in 1585/23) of IPC.
Respondent No.2 in both these cases are physically present in court and submit that these are cross FIRs and respondents have compromised the matter with the petitioners.
After compromise, continuance of criminal proceedings would be an abuse of the process of law.
Hence, impugned FIRs and entire criminal proceedings arising out of impugned FIRs stands quashed and these petitions stand allowed.
All pending applications, if any, also stands disposed of.
