The instant misc. application has been filed by the petitioner seeking correction in the cause title of D.B. Criminal Writ Petition No.2258/2023 decided on 05.12.2023.

Submissions have been made that the petitioner had impleaded Superintendent, Central Jail, Jaipur as respondent

No.4, however, the petitioner is lodged at Special Central Jail, Shyalawas, Dausa and, therefore, the petitioner may be permitted to correct the cause title and that as a consequence, due to said mistake, the directions have been given to the Superintendent, Central Jail, Jaipur to release the petitioner and, therefore, the said direction may also be corrected.

In view of submissions made, the misc. application is allowed. The petitioner is ordered to make requisite correction in the cause title. 4. In the order dated 05.12.2023, the respondent No.4 shall be read as ‘Superintendent, Special Central Jail, Shyalawas, Dausa’ instead ‘Superintendent, Central Jail, Jaipur’ and the operative portion shall read as under:

“6. Consequently, the petition filed by the petitioner is allowed. The minutes dated 31.05.2023 (Annex.1) qua the petitioner, are quashed and set aside. This Court directs the respondents to release the petitioner, namely, Vinod S/o Shri Sohan Lal, on permanent parole, provided he furnishes a personal bond in a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- [Rupee One Lac only] with two sureties of Rs.50,000/- [Rupees Fifty Thousand only] each to the satisfaction of the Superintendent, Special Central Jail, Shyalawas, Dausa, if not wanted in any other Criminal Case. The Superintendent, Special Central Jail, Shyalawas, Dausa, may further put any other condition to secure the presence of the petitioner, if need be, in accordance with law. The petitioner is further directed to maintain peace and tranquility during the period of permanent parole.”
