Counsel for the respondents submitted that in compliance of the order passed by this court, the petitioners were allowed to sit

in the interview process for the post of Assistant Professor. Counsel further submits that as per the result of the interview held on 23.05.2022, both the petitioners have not been selected for the post in question as they were lower in merit. A copy of the merit sheet submitted by counsel for the respondents is taken on record.
This position has not been disputed by counsel for the petitioners.
In view of the submissions made by counsel for the respondents, the present writ petition has become infructuous.
In that view of the matter, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. The question of law involved in this writ petition is kept open.
