This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner with the
following prayers:-
(I) to direct the respondent to include the name of petitioner in list of selected candidates and accordingly revise the result of the petitioner.
(ii) to direct the respondents to grant appointment to the petitioner and grant all the consequential benefits.
(iii) to issue any other appropriate writ, order or direction as may be deemed just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.
(iv) to allow the cost of this writ petition in favour of the petitioner.
In pursuance to the advertisement dated 16.10.2015, the
petitioner applied for the post of Lecturer, School Education. Result

of the said examination was declared by the respondents in the year 2019 and this writ petition has been filed by the petitioner after three years of declaration of the result.
In my considered view, this writ petition deserves to be dismissed on the ground of delay and laches as the petitioner has filed this writ petition after three years of completion of the selection process.
Accordingly, the instant writ petition dismissed.
