The petitioners are residents of village Gurjar Kheda, Tehsil Nagaur. They have filed this public interest petition questioning the decision of the Gram Panchayat to issue tenders for certain public works pursuant to the tender notice dated 07.02.2022. According to the petitioners, some irregularities have taken place. Some of the works published are not necessary. Previously,

tenders were issued which process had been aborted on private complaints being received.
At this stage, in our opinion, it is open for the petitioners to approach the Block Development Officer pointing out all these aspects of the matter and if the issues are not resolved to the satisfaction of the petitioners, it would be open for them to take further recourse available in law.
The petition is disposed of accordingly.
