Mr. Laxman Singh, learned counsel for the petitioners, submits that the petitioners would be satisifed if the District Collector, Barmer and Vikas Adhikari, Zila Parishad, Barmer are directed to consider petitioners’ representation dated 14.05.2018 expeditiously.

In view of the submission so made, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the petitioners to file a fresh representation along with photo copies of the earlier representations dated 06.02.2018 and 14.05.2018; requisite documents and a certified copy of the order instant to the District Collector, Barmer with a copy thereof to Vikas Adhikari, Zila Parishad, Barmer.

In case such representation is filed, the District Collector, Barmer and the Vikas Adhikari, Zila Parishad, Barmer are directed to decide the same in accordance with law as early as possible, preferably within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of representation.

It is made clear that aforesaid direction to consider the petitioners’ representation has been issued only with a view to ensure expeditious redressal of petitioners’ grievance. The same may not be construed to be an order to decide the same in a particular manner.
