The present petition has been registered pursuant to a letter written by the petitioner from jail.

By way of the instant petition the petitioner has prayed that he be released for first parole of 20 days.

Inviting Court’s attention towards minutes dated 20.11.2020 drawn by District Parole Advisory Committee, Mr. Joshi, learned Additional Advocate General submits that Committee has rightly rejected petitioner’s application for first parole because, the petitioner is involved in 20 cases and is a history-sheeter of Police Station, Railmagra.

Perused the record and heard learned Additional Advocate General.

On perusal of the report of the Superintendent, Central Jail, Rajsamand and minutes of meeting of the District Parole Advisory Committee and considering that the petitioner is a history-sheeter against whom 20 cases are pending, this Court is of the view that District Parole Advisory Committee has committed no error of law in rejecting petitioner’s application.

The petition, therefore, fails.
