Learned counsel for the petitioner has preferred this revision petition claiming the following reliefs:-
“It is, therefore, most respectfully prayed that this revision may kindly be allowed and the impugned order/award dated 07.12.2021 passed by Learned Additional Sessions Judge, Srikaranpur, Distt. Sri Ganganagar, in Criminal Misc. Case No. 03/2017 (Smt. Jasvinder Kaur V/s Harwinder Singh), may kindly modified and the application filed by the appellants under Section 125 Cr.P.C. may kindly be allowed as prayed for and the amount of maintenance may kindly be provisionally increased to the amount of Rs.10,000/- per month.”
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the amount of maintenance Rs.2000/- is very less amount in the given

circumstances when the petitioner was able to prove the land in question belonging to the family of the respondent.
Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that for the maintenance enhanced amount ought to have been granted.
Learned counsel for the respondent submits that both the children who have born out of the marriage are in custody of the father and he is maintaining them and giving a higher education.
Learned counsel for the respondent further submits that he is maintaining the whole family and thus, the maintenance granted is sufficient.
After perusing the record, this Court deems it appropriate and to meet the ends of justice that the amount of maintenance be increased from Rs.2000/- to Rs.2500/-.
Accordingly, the amount of maintenance is increased from Rs.2000/- to Rs.2500/-.
Consequently, the revision petition is accordingly disposed of with the aforesaid direction.
