Hari Ram Saini S/O Sh. Chhotu Ram Saini Vs State of Rajasthan

The petitioner has sought for quashment of FIR No. 233/2022 registered at Police Station Shri Madhopur, District Sikar for offence under Sections 143, 341, 327, 427 & 504 IPC lodged by respondent No. 2.

Submission is that the parties have entered into compromise. Respondent No. 2 is physically present in the Court and submits that a written compromise has already been filed in this matter.

Considering the facts that the parties have reached to a settlement and the nature of offences alleged are of private nature, continuance of criminal proceedings would be an abuse of the process of law.

Hence, the impugned FIR and all subsequent proceedings arising out of the aforesaid FIR are hereby quashed and this petition is allowed.
