This Criminal Misc. Petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been preferred for quashing for FIR No.333/2014 registered at Police Station Phalodi, District Jodhpur for the offences under Sections 143, 447, 427, 504 IPC.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that a compromise has been arrived at between the parties, which

factum is also reflected in the factual report submitted before this Court in pursuance of the order dated 10.11.2022 passed by this Hon’ble Court. Thus, the learned Public Prosecutor also verifies the factum of such compromise.

The factual report, furnished by learned Public Prosecutor, is taken on record.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has placed reliance on a decision of Supreme Court in case of Gian Singh V/s. State of Punjab & Anr. [(2012) 10 SCC 303] .

In view of compromise arrived at between the parties as also the verification of factum of such compromise by the learned Public Prosecutor, as discernible from the aforesaid factual report, and applying the ratio of the decision in Gian Singh Vs. State of Punjab & Anr. (supra) , this Court deems it just and proper to invoke inherent powers of this Court under Section 482 Cr.P.C.

Accordingly, the present misc. petition is allowed and while quashing the FIR No.333/2014 registered at Police Station Phalodi, District Jodhpur for the offences under Sections 143, 447, 427, 504 IPC, along with the entire proceedings pursuant thereto is hereby quashed. All pending applications stand disposed of.
