The present petition under section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, lays challenge to ad-interim order passed by learned trial Court as affirmed by the revisional Court.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission to withdraw the present petition, however, with an alternative prayer that the trial Court be directed to expeditiously decide petitioner’s application under section 12 of the Domestic Violence Act, 2005.

Having regard to the fact that the petitioner No.1 is a woman having 10 months’ child, the trial Court is directed to decide petitioner’s application under section 12 of the Act of 2005, in accordance with law, as early as possible, preferably within a period of six months from today.

The misc. petition so also the stay petition stands disposed of accordingly.
