After attempting to argue the matter on merits for quite some time, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that he does not want to press this bail application, however, has prayed that as the petitioner is in custody since 21.06.2019; and out of 14 prosecution witnesses, statement of only 4 prosecution witnesses have been recorded, the trial court be directed to expedite the trial.
Accordingly, this bail application is dismissed as not pressed.
The petitioner is in custody since 21.06.2019, it is expected that the trial court shall expedite the trial and conclude the same as early as possible.
