Learned counsel for the petitioner, without arguing on merits, has submitted that he does not want to press this criminal misc. bail application, however, has prayed that since the petitioner is in judicial custody for the last more than three years, the trial court may be directed to expedite the trial.
Accordingly, this criminal misc. bail application preferred by the petitioner under Section 439 Cr.P.C. is dismissed as not pressed.
However, looking to the custody period of the petitioner, it is expected that the trial court shall expedite the trial.
