The matter is placed before the Lok Adalat today.
The MACT, Abu Road by its judgment and award dated 22.10.2010 in MAC Case No. 122/2007 awarded a sum of Rs.2,16,000/- alongwith interest 9% per annurn.
With the active efforts of Counsel representing the parties and the authorities of the controversy involved in this appeal has been settled by ,mi~omise in the spirit of Lok Adalat. We appreciate the efforts of all concerned in settling the matter in pre-counselling. The memo of understanding shall constitute a part of the award.
With the consent of the parties, the impugned award dated 22.10.20 10 is fbrther enhanced by Rs.2,62,000/- in favour of the claimant(s)/appellant(s) as a full and final settlement of the case. The amount so agreed shall be deposited by the respondent Insurance Company with the Tribunal within a period of two months from today failing which, the same shall carry interest @ 7.5% per annum from the date of this order till actual realization.
