This petition is for initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondents for non-compliance of order dated 12/03/2019 passed in S.B. Civil Writ Petition No. 3104/2018, the last paragraph of the order containing directions reads as follows:-
“In the event of the aforesaid representation alongwith supporting documents being filed by the petitioner within 10 days from today, the Committee is directed to dispose of the representation within three weeks of its receipt strictly in terms of the guidelines formulated by the concerned SDMC for appointment of Gram Panchayat Sahayak.”
The respondents in their reply submitted that representation of the petitioner was considered by the competent authority. The petitioner was found eligible and was selected for the post on 04/10/2017. However, the petitioner did not follow the requirements subsequent to selection. As such the selection of the petitioner was cancelled by order dated 03/01/2018.
If the petitioner has any grievance against the said order, the petitioner may approach to the appropriate forum. However, no case of wilful disobedience of order of the court is made out.
Therefore, this contempt petition is dismissed as devoid of any merit.
