In the wake of second surge in the COVID-19 cases, abundant caution is being maintained for the safety of all concerned.
Counsel for the petitioner has preferred this writ petition while claiming the following reliefs:-
“It is, therefore, prayed that by appropriate writ order or direction order dated 08.02.2017 (Annex.8) and order dated 02.02.2018 may kindly be quashed and set aside and respondent department to directed to release the grant to petitioner along with 18% interest may kindly be passed.”

Counsel for the petitioner submits that he has challenged the policy for grant of travel aid for Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, which is given once to a citizen.
Counsel for the respondent submits that to give benefit of the policy to maximum number of persons a valid condition of aid being available only once to a citizen has been imposed.
This Court does not find any reason sufficient to entertain the writ petition. The writ petition, thus, is dismissed.
