Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the name of the petitioner was Pradeep Singh originally but in the school his name was mentioned as Devendra Singh Rathore and on account of this anomaly he has been denied release of the claim amount which was awarded by the MACT in his favour. Learned counsel submits that directions should be issued to release the amount in his favour.

However, this court finds that the petitioner will have to get a declaration from the competent court with regard to his name Devendra Singh Rathore akin to Pradeep Singh.

Granting liberty for submitting such a declaration, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.

If such an application is moved before the learned competent District Judge, the same shall be adjudicated and decided expeditiously, preferably within a period of six months.
