Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is running school of Science and Commerce stream on a land which is an agricultural land. Learned counsel further submits that for grant of additional faculty of agriculture science, the respondent/s are insisting on to get the land converted into institutional land, whereas circular has been issued by the Education Department allowing such lands to be converted from subsequent year 2021-22. Learned counsel further submits that for the year 2020-21, exemption has already been granted.

This Court finds that the session 2020-21 has already expired for which the application was moved. In view thereof, the petitioner will have to apply again for the year 2021-22 and for future courses, the land has to be converted from agriculture purposes to non-agriculture purposes.

In view of above, the writ petition is dismissed. All pending applications shall also stand disposed of.
